_{^{Elementary students may not use the microwaves to heat up food. Please ensure lunches are ready to eat.}}

As temperatures begin to drop, please help ensure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for cooler weather. Jackets, sweaters, and other warm layers are recommended, especially for recess and arrival/dismissal times.

If your child will be absent or requires a transportation change, please send an email to afno.attendance@dodea.edu & the homeroom teacher.
Changes must be sent by 12PM daily.
In the subject line, please include the child's full name and specify ES or MS/HS.
In the email, please include the following:
• Student's full name (no nicknames please)
• Date of absence(s) / transportation change
• Reason for the absence (attendance emails only)

The email reminders regarding low balance lunch funds are not automatically generated.

The email is a courtesy sent by our office staff. While we try our very best to notify parents right away, it is the parent’s responsibility to check the lunch account funds.

Please check in at the front office when volunteering for the school or dropping off belongings for your child.

All classroom visits require an appointment with the teacher.

All students may enter the school campus as early as 8:40 am.
Drop off before this time is not permitted as supervision is not provided.
Please note that students may not be sent to the office at dismissal to wait for their parents due to appointments or meetings. We kindly ask that you make the proper arrangements for your children.
