School Activities

School Sponsored After School Activities

There are a variety of school-sponsored after-school activities (3:30-4:45) offered to the students in 2nd-5th Grades from September through November. These clubs are sponsored not only for our US-Registered Students, but also for AFNORTH's British, Canadian, and German students as well!

Parents are notified of activities and sign-up procedures soon after the start of school. These activities are scheduled throughout the week and activity buses are provided for students residing within the AFNORTH school-bus area. For US students living in Germany buses MAY be available on a space available basis through the DoDEA Bus Office. Students will take the activity bus or be picked up promptly at the end of the activities (4:45).

In the past, club offerings have included: Board games, Indoor Soccer, Soccer, Cheerleading, Maths, Art, Reading, Drama, Choir, Scratch, Hockey, Creative Writing, STEM, Exploring Cultures, Juggling, Strategic Games, and Beginning Band.

We have also had a Spring Musical, though parents are required to provide transportation to those students participating in the performance preparation.

In addition, there are a variety of community activities and clubs, such as Scouts and sports teams.
